This to is based around a magical medieval world, filled with the stereotypical monsters and custom monsters of you creation. The story will consists of quests which you can create and take on yourself. The characters may enter the world however they see fit. Basic NPC towns can be made by players for story purposes. The idea goes as follows, heros and villains come from all over to this land in search of who knows what. Wealth, Glory, Fame, or something else entirely it's up to you. The land is filled with epic quests, vicious beasts, and a variety of people for your player shopping needs. Or simply open your own shop for added story or helping other players get equipment. The rules are simple, players may explore/add to the world as they see fit but with moderator discretion. Don't kill other players characters without their permission. Don't give yourself overpowered loot. Please attempt to stick to the theme while also expanding as you like. Moderators being myself and possibly seize and rage. Moderators may create unique quests with unique weapons or items relative to the theme. (Excalibur, Holy Grail, Etc.)
The story exists in Farkhold a distant continent surrounded by water in all directions. The Land has five regions. Shakhim,Drekoth,Gralia,Chimro, and Kiristan.
The different regions have different races inhabiting them. Shakhim is a forest region with tall trees and is home to the Shakin, which are elf like beings who practice magic. Their capital is on top of the tallest tree on the continent, Drekoth is a vast desert of red sand where the Drekons live, which are humanoid lizards who have tough skin and large muscles. Their capital is a circular sandstone citidal located at the center of the desert. Gralia is the capital region and is primarily vast plains where the humans live. The capital is halfway carved into a mountain and is surrounded by giant walls. Chimro is the land of the beasts sense woodland, and large mountains home to humanoid beasts and wild beasts alike. The capital is never a set position it is wherever the beast king is located at the current time. Kiristan the last hold has vast plains and high mountains and is home to the Kiristen an Angel like race of humans with white wings. Their capital resides on top of the holy mountain.
Time has shifted. Something in the mists of reality is stirring. Several beings from all across Present Farkhold were sent back to when the beasts of Chimro's reach and power was at it's peak. And the ancient dragons of Drekoth were the only other major power. The Dragons and the Beasts raged war daily. So the races of humanoids, Kiristens, Half-beasts, humans, Drekons, and Shakin fought for there races survival in a land ravaged by these titans. The people are known to look mostly human at birth and as they age will slowly grow the new Draconian fetchers as well as there elemental affinity(sometimes a rare dual affinity is made) till around there mid 30s some as late as early 40s . The average life span of a draconem life is around 200-250 years depending .the averge diet of this race is mainly fish and and simple crops and fruit trees . Name: Markus Valanite Gender:Male Age:158 Race: Vampiric Human Appearance: Pale skin, white hair. Scar down his right eye. Glowing red eyes in darkness. plain red eyes during the day. Wears a metal mask, and gloves with claws. Along with a heavy armored cloak. Path: Chaotic Neutral Personality: Quiet,cunning, and cruel. Hateful towards necromancers and undead. Job: Hired Killer/Mercenary History:Markus is descended from a long line of assassins. At the age of 46 he was slain by a cult of necromancers who using their dark magic. Wished to create a creature of undeath that was stronger, faster, and longer lasting then their petty thralls. So they called upon the dark lord Raverak, the demon of darkness and death. To create such a creature using the soul and body of Markus. He granted their wish and they were ecstatic. Until Markus flew into a blood thirsty slaying and draining the blood of ever last one of them. He hated what he had become. But over the years he had become accustomed to his fate. But still he harbored a hatred for necromancers and their creations. Markus now travels to Farkhold a land far from his own by ship. But a rift of energy split open and both water and the ship were swallowed whole. Markus stands at the front of the ship. Staring off towards this continent covered in heavy brush and trees With large mountains covered in vines and brush ascending into the heavens. He would be arriving in the land known as Kiristan. But several hundred years before he expected to. Before the angel like beings had tamed these forests into plains. Abilities/Traits: Much faster than an average human. As strong as at least 2 basic men. Weakness to sunlight and holy magic. Must either be wearing his specialized mask and gloves in sunliight. or must sleep in the metal coffin he carries around. The ability to communicate with spiders. Fighting style: Stealth Warrior Weapons/Spells: Has two thin blades which he straps to his back. A dagger strapped to his chest. His gloves have a metal covering on the back of his hand and sharp claw like extensions. Can drink the blood of living creatures to gain strength. Spell:Mist Call can create a dense fog of mist around himself at night. Powers upgrade as he gets more consumed by his vampiric blood lust. Spell: Minor hypnotism, when making eye contact with a person he becomes extremely persuasive and the victim is compelled to obey orders. Victim must either have a week will or be emotionally distraught. Extra items: Has a jar of grave dirt from where he was initially buried. Other: A pet spider.

Name: Gol Grohiik Gender: Male Age: 21 Race: Human Appearance: Path: Neutral Good Personality: He is calm and level headed most of the time. He prefers to think his way out of a problem rather than use brute force. He will help those in need but it depends on who needs the help. If it's some merchant in a market that just had their coin purse stolen, he won't care. If he's asked to put down a gang of bandits, he will do so without another thought. He loathes dragons, their wish to enslave the lesser races disgusts him. If he sees a a dragon, he's likely to kill it. Job: Assassin/Hunter/Mercenary History: Gol was born in a small village in the north of Chimro. His mother died giving birth, so his father raised him alone. His father was a hunter, they often hunted together when he was young. They would keep the meat from their kills and sell the hides back in the village. But Gol wanted to be more than that. When he was 16 he decided he would head south to the border with Gralia and look for different work. His father, to his surprise, didn't object. Instead he wished him luck and told him he was the only one that could choose his path. He joined up with a mercenary band when he reached the border, but he didn't realize that it was actually a group of bandits searching for recruits. He went along with them anyway, fearful of what would happen if he were to try and betray them. He was chosen to go on a raid, but the raid was a trap. All the bandits we're killed by the regional lord's soldiers. He was taken prisoner as he didn't even try to fight. He quickly told the soldiers of the bandit hideout's location. The soldiers told him they had to bring him in, and if the information was correct he would likely be set free. He would be set free, but not by the soldiers. A dragon attacked the group as they were traveling, he used the opportunity to run like hell. As far as he knew, the soldiers were all dead. After those events he decided he would no longer let his fear rule his decisions. After a couple years of mercenary work, he began to grow tired of the lord's oppression. The man kept the weak farmers and workers underpaid and over worked. While his soldiers and mercenaries were paid too well to care. He decided to put a stop to it. He managed to sneak into the lord's estate, which was surprisingly easy. Only guards outside, none inside. He killed the overweight man in his sleep, slitting his throat with a dagger. He traveled home after that. He missed his father. But he only returned to find charred ruins. And a single Dragon. The dragon taunted him, telling him to run and tell the other villages what happened. Consumed by rage he managed to best the dragon, but he was critically injured. He only survived due to a group that had come to the town. The group had intended to kill the dragon, they found it's corpse and Gol. The group was apart of an ancient brotherhood, the Akavir. Dragon hunters. They saved him and offered him a chance to join, he accepted. He learned much from them, and they eventually set him on a quest to find the beast king. The beasts avoided the few human settlements in Chimro and were not openly aggressive toward humans, unlike the dragons. His quest was to find the beast king and convince him to help against the dragons. Abilities/Traits: Stealth, proficient with daggers and one handed swords. Can use a bow at range. Uses a shield when fighting something big. Ex: troll, dragon, beats, etc... Fighting style: Stealth/Warrior Weapons/Spells: Sword of Truth: Dagger: Hunting Bow: Shield: Basic fire spell. Basic healing spell. Extra items: 500 Gold. Canteen. Map. 10 arrows. 20 lockpicks. One healing potion. A book on the Akavir. Other: Naahlien, a tame wolf the Akavir allowed him to keep. Name:Ulfgar, last of the Khondan (Khondan is a sub-race of the Dwarves) Gender:Male Age:132 Race:Khondan Dwarf. Khondan are known for great craftsmanship, rich history, and among the strongest to ever wield Holy magic. Appearance:While tall for a dwarf, he is still short by human standards. Ulfgar only stands at around, 4'10. His beard is long, ending around his mid-chest, his beard itself is still rather red, but is slowly starting to gain more and more grey to it as the years go on. He wears a set of full plate armor, trimmed in gold, the set holds no special properties that are known. It just happens to be a set that has been passed down among his family, until he was the last one to receive it. Path:Chaotic Good Personality:Still considered rather young among his own race, Ulfgar is truly what you'd expect of a dwarf. Cheerful, more than happy to get a drink whenever he's free, and very honorable. Ulfgar will do anything in his power to protect his friends, and slay evil. His devotion to the practice of Clerical, and the Paladin's craft has left him strong for slaying undead, and demons that plague the world. Just promise him adventure, where he can slay evil, he'll come with your party happily. Just be ready to deal with a dwarf, known to have a habit of charging headlong into any situation he finds. Job:Adventurer, slayer of evil, Servant of Moradin, Warrior of Kord History:Ulfgar comes from a dead culture, and race originally. Being the last of his race, to hold 100% Khondan blood, he's considered a legend in some regards. Of course not a very important legend, except among great dwarven scholars of the new societies, who would have the slightest hint of what he was. The blue tattoos on his face are exactly what define him as the Khondan, due to the designs, which all seem to incorporate holy images, of some sort. His body is also covered in various symbols of the good gods of the universe. Ulfgar has dedicated himself to two very important gods however. Among the dwarves, Moradin is the most important god, for a multitude of reasons, including that he was their original creator, hence every dwarf commits themselves to Moradin, lest they refuse their original heritage. However among the Khondan, a dwarf is expected to choose a second god, to devote to, based on their path in life. For Ulfgar, Kord was the wisest choice, the god of storms, strength, and battle was the most fitting in Ulfgar's mind. As Ulfgar intended to become a holy warrior, set on protecting the world, and saving anyone within it from evil. For the past 112 years, Ulfgar as an adult, has ventured far and wide, fighting minor evils to get stronger, and stronger with each day. Whether cultists, or imps, he has laid into each with his hammer, or his magic. His current residence is whatever tavern would have an open room. Abilities/Traits:Skilled in heavy armor, two handed weaponry (Particularly Hammers and Axes), offensive Holy Magic, combat healing magic. Blood holds a particular holy power to it, and provides him with strong holy magic...and has some other strange properties. Fighting style:Paladin, mixing Holy Magic with the Skills of a Warrior. Weapons/Spells:Great Hammer, and a wide array of Holy magic designed specifically for attacking the evil within the world, some healing and protection magic to keep himself safe as well. Extra items:Holy Symbol on his hammer(Allows his Hammer to function as a catalyst for any and all of his spells), Full Plate Armor(Great Protection, seems to glow a little bit, with the symbol of Moradin on the breastplate, and the symbol of Kord on each shoulder plate), basic adventuring gear. Other:His Hammer has an odd habit of speaking every now and then...it possesses a Chaotic Good nature. It's voice is heard by whoever the hammer chooses to allow.
