In the Commonwealth so many horrible things go about. Raiders deadset on nothing but violence, and more than happy to hang your mangled corpse up as a trophy. Mercenary groups who tend to hate anyone without their uniform on, or with a bunch of caps ready to pay them. Of course these dangers don't even encompass the horrors like mole rats, Yao Guai, and the dreaded Deathclaws that populate the roads between settlements...Yet among this horrors, walk more than the average survivor. These men and women that stand above the rest of the wasteland, are usually referred to as Legends, as they set an example like story heroes of old, and sometimes are not even believed to be real. Of course no Legend is born, they are only created, and molded into what they are.
Rules are rather simple here.

As this is a story about creating a Legend, stay reasonable with starting gear, make it relative to your character if possible.
Understand I will be playing a DM character, effectively I will look at stats, determine success, injury, and so on. I will do everything in my power to keep things fair, and keep the RP moving. Feel free to challenge me on things, if you feel I'm incorrect.
Death will happen via the DM, so if I call you dead, just take it.
