"Well I don't know what's going on, but hell, count me."-Anonymous
What appears to have been a small inter-dimensional rip occurred, terrifyingly enough, it seems to have opened in near every dimension, known to anyone, or anything. Of course, it's question of who got sent where, and why that matters. After all, put yourself in the position of someone who got stuck here, and you may just love, or hate yourself. Whether your the poor average human male, who's been whipped into this commotion, the super soldier, or the adorable girl from an anime. You're stuck here either way, the question is, what's worth it? To make it back home, or to stay with your companions? That is for you to decide.
This roleplay, will follow the adventures of various characters, controlled by YOU, Yes, you. Whether you chose to be someone original, or come straight out of a game/show/book, you're stuck with everyone else. I don't expect any conflict between other characters, aside from arguments, little brawls here and there, and so on. I will be playing DM here, and helping to move the story, and keep encounters and such around. After all, every roleplay needs a little task for everyone to help with, or battle for characters to participate in.
Rules:
1:I am the Dungeon Master, technically. My word goes, and I will help to shape the story, and keep it moving. Of course, if you want to change it, or take the story another path, just do it.
2:I do not want any god-modding in this roleplay. If I see it happening, I will deal with it. However simple god-modding, like "Everyone is walking this way, so may as well just skip a few hours" Is fine, if no one is doing anything, but walking. However if a conversation is happening, please let it continue. As for fighting, it really depends on the situation, and the characters in question.
3:No Gary-sue characters, I hate perfect characters with a passion. I expect you to have weaknesses, and such. I expect you to lose fights, you know, the usual for LIVING BEINGS!
4:I don't expect any conflict between other characters, aside from arguments, little brawls here and there, and so on. Nor do I want any fighting among the characters, that would lead to death, or major injury. If you fight over a girl, in a fist fight. Fine. If you try to kill each other, over nothing, please, leave.
5:Personally I don't care if two characters screw, during downtime. Just do me a favor, if you do it within the thread, give us all a quick damn warning. Another favor to ask, please be polite to the roleplayers doing so. I don't care if you yell from a room away, "Hey keep it down!", but bursting in, and all that is just strange, and uncalled for. Sure, peep all you want, or yell angrily, just don't barrel in, like a bull in a China shop.
6:Please don't be rude to other members, out of character. I don't want to see (OOC:The fuck is wrong with you faggot?), it's just uncalled for.
7:I will have no arguing about people's post, unless it's absolutely ridiculous. For example, killing someones character without asking. And or doing something along the lines of dispatching a room of highly trained soldiers, with no gear, and no training.
8:Make as many characters as you damn well please. Just make sure you can manage them.
Name:Oberwachtmeister Francis, Herrmann
Age:32
Weight:180 pounds
Height:5'11
Gender:Male
Personality:While being a part of the Nazi Regime, he was one of the few against Hitler, who got pulled into the war not wanting to be in it all. However after many years of serving, he rose to a respectable rank as a tank commander, fighting at the Battle of Prokhorovka, the Battle of Brody, and many smaller, less notable engagements. Francis tends to expect various outcomes from battles, always being a realist on how a fight can go. Since he's won, and lost many times in the past, if anything he's a tactician, and a rather strong leader. As for how he acts, most would call him kind, and caring for other individuals.
Appearance: www.wwiivehicles.com/germany/tanks-heavy/pzkpfw-vi-ausf-e-tiger-heavy-tank/michael-wittman.jpg
History:Francis grew up on a farm most of his life, always being know by his family as a rather compassionate, and caring boy. He seemed to have a love for animals, and other human beings. Always coming to aid of various individuals, and tending to animals who were sick, or hurt. By the age of twenty-two, he himself was married, and living on a farm of his own.
However somewhat of a tragedy struck him, one day while Francis was tending to the fields, his wife had left for the city. Mostly to pick up a few things, including a new dress, since Francis was willing to spare some money for the woman he loved so dearly. His wife did not return, for three days, nor did she ever return to Francis, aside from in a box. In the city, she had been cornered by several men, raped, and murdered. To this day, Francis still has refused to forgive the men for what they have done, however since they were never caught, or identified, he can do nothing to avenge his wife. So overtime he has grown to just have forgotten his wife, and moved on.
In 1939, during the early part of World War 2, Francis chose to sign up. Having nothing left to live for with his wife gone, and going into bankruptcy due to his own depression tearing him apart. The only thing he could imagine doing, was joining the military. He managed to end up in an armored division, being trained rather quickly to command any tank that was available to him. From Pz.IV's, to Stug III's, he's had to operate all of them. Or so he claims.
In 1944, in the early stages of the Battle of the Bulge, he was one of the few tanks serving under the 6th Panzer Army, commanding a Tiger 1, in the fight. It was only the early stages of the battle, however while he was there. Something, something that seemed to be a rip of sorts, something just where the turret of the tank was appeared. It was a rip in the air, as if God had slipped a knife through battlefield, just where his tank was heading. Francis had no chance to command his tank to dodge out of the way, so he ended up hitting it. Where he found himself, well he still hasn't gotten up yet.
Enhancements:Nothing
Disabilities:Due to his general caring nature for other humans, he can tend to make the wrong calls at times, and even have very firm regrets in pulling the trigger against an enemy.
Weapons:A 9mm Luger Pistol with four magazines, a Kampfmesser 42( www.warrelics.eu/forum/military_photos/daggers-swords-3-reich/179988d1298041385t-infanteriemesser-42-showin-bowie-blade-2.jpg )and of course and MP40 with two magazines.
Franchise: (If any.)
Other:Decent medic, due to how much time he spent caring for animals, and other humans before joining the military.
Name:Sergeant Flippy, last name unknown. Split personality know as, Fliqpy.
Age:20
Weight:180
Height:6'2
Gender:Male
Personality:This will have to be done in two halves, after all, he has two personalities.
On one side you have a rather caring, kind, even sweet and innocent individual. One who tends to enjoy seeing friends, and over all someone just a little sweeter than you'd expect for a veteran of Vietnam. Flippy himself tends to enjoy the simple things in life, such as nature, gardening, and of course anyone willing to call him a friend. It comes as no surprise however, that Vietnam did leave him with a rather major case of PTSD.
However he does have a trace amount of pure hatred, and bloodthirsty nature in him. One of the few hiccups that the war left him with, was a second personality, who at this point has simply been named as...well there are several, "Fliqpy", tends to be one of the few that this personality has taken to being called. It is pronounced the same way as Flippy, however it's spelled differently, to signify that this personality is much more than just part of Flippy's brain. If anything, this personality is an actual person, a part of Flippy's soul.
Fliqpy, as he's taken to being called, is quite the opposite of, Flippy. Unlike his counterpart, he tends to be a little more cruel, and sarcastic. Of course while portrayed as violent, and murderous among the old community he lived in. However he does enjoy the company of people. However he expresses his love for people much differently, while his other half would give a bouquet of flowers to "their" lover (After all, they share a body...God that must make for some interesting conversations between the two. XD, I made myself laugh, however back to business), Fliqpy would be more likely to simply throw his life away for someone, and if he lived through it, likely act like it was nothing.
However there is too much to cover here, if anything, I can only say this much, you'll see a lot more, in better detail in the actual roleplay.
Appearance:Normally Flippy Tends to appear like so fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2012/154/f/e/flippy_render_by_faceyourconsequences-d52631g.png In a Vietnam era combat uniform, a set of a dog tags, and a black tank-top underneath the uniform.
However there is a subtle difference between Flippy, when his second personality tanks over. Which is what truly contrasts the two so quickly. Which added with the change of attitude, there is a change of eye color. Shifting from their usual dark green, to yellow. fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/163/e/6/blood_flippy_by_flippyfunclub-d3ip0lj.jpg While it should be obvious, who is who in this photo. I guess I'll state the obvious, the one on the right, is the most accurate portrayal I could find that I liked of, Fliqpy.
History: There's a lot to cover, however I'll go based of what I know, with my own twist to explain his human appearance. Let's go then. This is is if anything an alternate universe of Happy Tree Friends, where everyone is human, instead of cute little, bipedal animals. Instead the characters were humanized. His history does remain unchanged however. Now then, to the actual history, this is just clarification.
Based on the show, the earliest point we learn about this character, is during war time, in Vietnam. Or so it appears, based on the general references, and such made. During this time, the only notable encounter Flippy had was with the General of the opposing military. During this operation, both of his squad mates died, and he was left to finish the mission. Flippy did end up having to retreat, however with both of his squad members dead, he chose to actually hide under their bodies (In the show it was inside, however a 6'2 human, fitting inside someone of the same size. Yeah no, now is not the time to defy logic, and physics). This is actually what triggered the appearance of his second personality, causing, this so called, Fliqpy, to go directly after the General, and his soldiers. Surprisingly he managed to dispatch a few soldiers, and then ended up in a quick scuffle with this so called, "General", resulting in a victory for Fliqpy. Along with a decisive victory in this dimensions timeline.
It's assumed Flippy was sent away, with a purples heart, and a medal of honor for his outstanding actions. Of course, Flippy failed to admit it was due to a freshly emerged, bloodthirsty second personality. Instead more willing to get out of the war, and return home. From there on he lived within the town for a year. Living among the others, killing many of them on a daily bases. However by the next day most of them seemed to have, if anything, reappeared, alive and healthy, however with memories of what, Flippy had done. Being as many refused to listen to Flippy, when he tried to explain that he had a second personality.
One night, oddly enough, while Flippy was walking home, surprisingly not having killed anyone that day, even having been able to get through a date of sorts, with one of women in town. He found another one of the many scattered rips, out of curiosity, he walked into it. Of course when he came out of the other side, he found no way back, and only what appeared to be a passed out World War 2 German tank commander on the ground.
Enhancements: Nope
Disabilities:Flippy does have a second personality, that is typically let out because of blood, or firm reminders of the war. Such as blood, gore, gunshots, and so on. Call it a defense mechanism if anything, however it does impact how Flippy acts at times, it's quite easy to tell when he's about to go on, he tends to give a rather noticeable twitch of the eye, or even starts to hold his head in his hands, in pain. Not to say over time he won't be able to control it, however this personality is so new to him, he can barely do much more than speak with it, and let it take over whenever it's set off.
Of course, Flipqy, his second personality can simply let himself, should he be able to overrule Flippy's willpower. Which typically is a rather harsh task for him to achieve, however it seems to happen on occasion. However those Occasions seem to happen, when Flippy actually lets Fliqpy out, on request. Not to murder, but to actually voice his opinions, or concerns to others.
Weapons:A M1911 with two magazines (He tends to forget about having it on his belt holster actually, it's usually accounted for by Fliqpy.), a bowie knife from the war, his bare hands. The only other notable weapon/ability he has, if the fact Fliqpy can make damn near anything into a killing tool of some sort.
Franchise:Happy Tree Friends, heavily abridged however.
Other: Nope
