Year 20xx
Sol System
"Sinclair Corp is celebrating another 10 years of success which strangely lines up with the 10 year anniversary of the death of their former founder and CEO, Gregor Sinclair. Since that time crime rates across the colonies and occupied space have risen and yet no correlation? It might not be apparent but I'm on to you fools. You've all slipped up since then and I'll make sure you are reminded of your mistakes. It's all coming toge-." A loud knock is made on the door causing Leon to shake as if he has just been woken up. "We were calling for you on the intercom but you wouldn't answer. We've arrived at Terra."
Terra, the largest space station in the Sol System. Built just past Earth's moon as a result of a series of asteroids that came crashing down on earth causing the planet to become nearly inhabitable. It served as the main hub for humanity and also held the orbital gates used to travel across the system.
Leon exits the ship along with Augusto and heads towards the market. They proceed into an elevator with a couple of others and stay silent for a couple of seconds.
"Any word on the task?" Leon says.
"4 confirmed responses we're still waiting on the other beacons to get set off." Augusto replies.
"Update the beacons with a new time limit. One day." Leon turns his chair to the window to stare at the scenery while Augusto glares at him. "The week is not even up and you're cutting them off by two days?! What exactly do yo-" Leon turns his chair to face Augusto. "Have you forgotten that old family saying of yours? At this point it's almost become part of me." Augusto stares on with a puzzled look. "I never forget it but?" Augusto relaxes himself and sets off a sigh of relief. "You impress me sometimes cub because for a second there I thought you were just getting impatient." He lets out a hardly laugh before turning to the elevator doors. He crosses his arms and closes his eyes thinking to himself. "How could I forget? La desesperación inspira la innovación." The elevator opens and the other people on it quickly get off trying to get away from the two strange men. Leon and Augusto step off and head towards the market.
